Fiberglass will melt the foam but you can use epoxy to glue the foam together, it's safe for the foam.
There are fillers you can get that will thicken the epoxy into a paste so it can be used to smooth the surface.
I dont know what kind of materials you have available in Puerto Rico, but you can check out http://www.shopmaninc.com to get an idea of epoxies, thickeners, etc. that are out there.

I dunno, man. I'm not a styrofoam guy. Why not use 3 wood discs and bend 2mm Sintra around them? Faster and classier looking too. Accepts paint and film logos better.
