I saw the monthly drawing post from Barb Shortreed and saw a link to the new merchant Signvinylwholesale.com. So I went to take a peak. Those are some incredible prices on vinyl, so obviously my question is has anyone tried it or know anything about it's quality! If this stuff is any good I can save almost 40% on material cost! That's a big difference. HP Neschen is about 35.00 for a 15 x 10. Their HP is about 20.00
If you haven't been to there site yet you need to check it out.
Thanks

I don't want to bash a new sponsor, but I can't get myself to call some supplier that has no visible address. That's one of those dot com things that irritates me. I want to know where something is coming from and if I do business with someone I want to be able to phone. At least they have phone numbers.
So, who knows anything about this European vinyl?

At the Vegas show I was interested in banner material, I gave a banner merchant my mailing information and yesterday I received a sample roll. If our new vinyl merchant is smart they might consider sending sample rolls to the previous posting folks and prove the integrity of the product. Ken, I don't know how to determine quality in vinyl, except how well it weeds and short term stuff like that. Some of what's important to me is longevity. Saving a few bucks now and needing to re-do things later and loosing customer confidance are not a direction I'd want to go. Lotsa folks say seven year, but are they? For those that do the intermediate vinyl short term jobs, the risk is minimal.

Without the merchant mentioning the actual product name I can't be sure but from the description of the backing paper that 2 mil high performance stuff sounds like PMF orSMF(Select Marking Films). My favourite supplier switched from Avery to that stuff about a year ago. It would not track prperly on either my Roland PNC 1000 or my newer CM24. I had to swictch top a different supplier as a result. The backing paper was too thick and heavy for the grit rollers to bite into it.
Just thought I would mention that it might be a good idea to ask for a small sample before placing a 50 yd. order.

Hello Brian, You have a good point about Cast Vinyl's. They are the best. However, a 7 year hi-performance products from Europe like those that we offer are a great substitute. But if you want Cast you will need to pay a little more. Hello Rick, You can telephone us at (800) 348-3486. We have been in buisness 17 years. We have been converted films for many of the industry manufacturers. Hello Ken Morse, If you need any sample, please ask, we will send it to you. Hello Dave Grundy, We have a 90 lb poly clay liner. Tracking is quite good.
Hello Cheryl, Plea

David, thank your for the quick response to everyone's comments. Ricks point is all about integrity, using a new product like yours without documentation to back up them up is business suicide. Daves point is about real time terrible experiences with a vinyl product. I guess you now understand we definitely don't need anymore grief in this business world so please post as much factorial information regarding your products so we can make intelligent decisions from data not opinions.

David...perhaps if you filled out a signature, at the bottom of your posts, readers would fel a lot more comfortable about dealing with your company! Check out the manner in which Jim Dogget, Pierre StMarie, Roger Bailey, and the rest of the Merchants identify themselves.
Just my humble opinion!
