Hi dana, lots of good suggestions. Ihave been using 2 coats of jay cook primer and one heavy coat of one shot lettering enamel and it seems to work great. ive got one shot back grounds out for up to 6 plus years that have gone dull but still look fine, to speed up the drying try one shot hardener. Isell a clear coat, frog juice or one shot uv clear on my signs as an option to help extend the life
