Anyway I have a question to ask. I just recently got a job to do a 4'x8' aluminum sign for the American Legion in my home town. I am presently looking for the crests of the sons the auxillary and the American Legion seal. If anyone has done these seals could you let me know if it is possible to do out of vinyl without having digital prints made. Also if you know where i could get the seals this would be a big help also. Ive tried the legion site but it was to no avail. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks, Ryan

Hi Ryan...A few years ago I did 2-40" high crests for the Canadian Legion. I can't remember how many actual colors were used but I do remember that there were 22 different components to each crest. It was the most complicated project I have ever done and it was a lot of fun too. BUT it wasn't a real money maker, by the time I digitized the crest and installed all the overlays. If you need the practice in digitizing and multilayered vinyl..go for it! If you don't need the practice...Get it Edge printed!
By the way...the Canadian legion branch provided me with a decal that was about 10" high that I could scan and get a decent image from. I would imagine your American Legion branch would too.

Ryan, I don't know if this is what your looking for but here is one I did a few years ago for a little league sponsor sign. I also have done this same logo 6' in dia. cut to shape in .080 alum. but I dont have a picture of it. It was a 4 color logo. both signs were done vinyl only. If I can help anyway let me know.
