Do you ever take a good look at your shop, and wonder why you have certain stuff in there?
Now that I no longer have an employee, I wonder to myself why I'm maintaining two computer stations. They don't cost me anything extra (yet), however I'm finding I'm running back and forth between them to get work accomplished.
If I only had one computer, I'd need a MUCH LARGER desk, that could handle both production work and standard paperwork, so perhaps I've just justified my initial statement.
(incidently, both puters have all the same software loaded, it's just that I start at one at the beginning of the day and end up at the other, probably because the other one sends to plotter)
I also wonder why I still have boxes of stuff stacked in my shop long after my move, but that's more laziness than unneccessary.
Is there anything in your shop you question yourself on?

I should really take a pic of this to post it, but I have 4 months of mail piled on top of my weeding/taping table.
Remember my time in St Louis? It's all the mail I received while I was gone. Hahaha.. The sad part is my weeding table is 36" deep and 8 feet long.. every square inch is covered!
I guess I can always use it for bonfire kindling. =)

Hi Donna! * My 5-yr-old's HotWheels on my office floor, in front of the door. * My 13-yr-old's video game CD where I thought I put my VectorArt CD. * My 17-yr-old's stereo, guitar, & dirtbike parts all over the garage * The rusty mailbox a frequent customer wants me to hand-letter for $10 * my ex's junk 1954 Ford truck shell behind my garage * all those little scraps of vinyl I saved because you just never know... * half-empty paint encrusted cans of 1-Shot * old dried quills * ancient crumbling pounce patterns * ancient crumbling sewing patterns * lawn tools Well, you get the picture. Things I cannot do without? Panels my dear friends have painted for me, my cruddy sign kit,my rickety step ladder,my velvet Elvi, and my fax machine.

I could do without the utility bills and all those plotter knives that I thought I would sharpen. The 7"x15" scraps of paper and vinyl that might just be usable someday.
