I have tried everything I know to get a picture to scan. I have corel 9 and I scan it into it and then export to GA 6.21. When I convert nothing happens. Any suggestions? I need a picture of a golf cart to put on sign. Anyone have one?

Scanners bring things in in raster format and have to be traced or converted to vector to get editable and cuttable objects. Dont have graphic advantage so dont know anything about that.

Hi Cynthia. If you are scanning a black & white picture in GA 6.21, just place your artwork on the scanner, click on "file", scroll down to "scan to vector", click on that, and simply follow the prompts that follow. Your black & white artwork will automatically be converted to a vectorized image that you can cut from. The vector image that you get will depend very strongly on the quality of the artwork that you started with, but once you have the image in the Composer Program, you can clean up the image by editing the nodes that you'll see when you select the image. Hope this helps.
