"A Sign Painter Bump-Up"

sorry, i am so busy with the biz at the moment, don't have time to award an "SOTM".

If I had the time, I would award this one to Bill Dirkes.
very nice pictorial painting. You sure know how to blend colors.

Thanks Mark.
And thanks for the post here. I don't check the portfolio page as frequently as I come to 'town' to visit the folks here. So I've
probably missed some great work posted there.

Hey Mark your 2nd post beat me with this by mere seconds! From the times on your posts you've given up on sleep too!
to be even mentioned in the same thought as SOTM is high praise. Thanks!
And I've seen some of your pictoral work;you know the work, some days it just falls into place and some days...

Both of you do really nice pictorial work. I take it you both had training as billboard painters? (besides the obvious talent).
That is one area I would really like to improve in as far as techniques, blending methods etc. Anyone going to do a workshop at one of the meets or at least post a step by step basic, for those who have some pictorial skills already?
Good work!

So, why can I only view a little white box with a nicely rendered X in it? That didn't require so much skill to paint.

Is this one of those 'sarcasm' posts?
I just see the little red X box too.

I was able to view these magnificant pieces of history through Netscape but only the X's with Internet Explorer.

I could almost hear her voice and feel the water. Nice painting!
