I have an older version of Flexi that I am very comfortable with.. I wanted to upgrade so that I can have the color scan capabilities, however after reading some of the posts in the archive /search files I am having second thoughts. Does anyone have any suggestions for me ? I keep reading about the merits of Corel Draw, should I purchase and learn Corel Draw ? Or should I upgrade the Flexi ? I am on a limited budget, so I can't do both at this time. Any help would be appreciated....

I am not sure I understand the question. Color scanning? I use Corel all the time but I don't scan using Corel. I just use the software that came bundled with my scanner. Doesn't every scanner come with a software package (twain these days)? Why would you need to upgrade your sign software or buy Corel just to do scanning?
Like I said..I must not be understanding the question.

With my current version of Flexi I cannot color scan with this program !!!!! I guess what I was trying to get across is .....is there another way to color scan and import it to this version of Flexi so that I can cut or output it to my printer? (Since there seems to be problems with the upgrade in Flexi I was trying to avoid this problem) And I was wondering is Corel all that good , for me to purchase and learn ? I do a lot of sign sketches.....but in this version of Flexi I cannot do blends, chrome effect etc.etc.
