July 6, 7 & 8...Letterheads Run Away To Join The Circus

The Hoosier Letterheads will be hosting a weekend at the circus. We will repaint and gild some old circus wagons for the Circus museum in Peru, IN....no cost to attend. Plenty of interesting projects! How many we do depends on how many can attend.

Contact Doc Welty at 812-723-3505 / fax 812-723-2095 or e-mail him at docwelty@kiva.net

I hear the same talk Joe. We're trying to contact Bill Beckner to get some info on this Washington meet. If anyone out there has the facts, please let the rest of us know.

That would be Washington, Pennsylvania. I somehow don't imagine Bill moving anywhere.

What flies???

I've been there 3 or 4 times and I don't remember seeing these "pesky flies"... so what'dya step in Mike?

Hey A, maybe we could wrap him in a fine meshed screen suit to protect him from the "flies" and then... we could use him for texture like a giant sponge on the big sign project this year. (Instead of the chicken wire you guys were fighting with)

Just kidding wit ya Mike...

Actually we'll spray ya down with "Off" to keep the flies from following you and hang Citronella candles on you... In September we have Mosquitos the size Condors!

O.K. -- adding to MY supplies list:
Firewood

Warm cat (in case any are missing)
Mosquito netting, extra large mesh
Off
Zapper
Flyswatters
Citronella
Anti Bug Suit
Geez! I won't have room for my sign kit...
and this time I'm hooking one of Ron's heaters to my belt loops with a bungee cord so it will follow me around. It was a might brisk last time. Ha.

Just wait 'til MY meet... (I don't know when yet) ...we have Bears that think Dumpster means All-You-Can-Eat, and Mountian Lions that roam about and peak in windows, and Raccoons that REALLY like Dog Food, and.... doesn't that all sound like fun?

That's why we can leave our doors unlocked and our keys in the cars- the local "pets" keep all the "wandering humans" away.

Hey Mike, you could bring spiked shoes to the meet. Then you could be sure and not step on any wolf spiders and you'd be aerating the soil for the monster earth worms we grow here in CA. You're not afraid of worms are you? heh heh heh
