Hello all,

I was looking for a place which sells the heat press specialty materials. I know that SignWarehouse sells them, although i'd rather not take my business there again. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good place to purchase this stuff at?

Thanks a lot everyone! Have a good weekend!

Many moons ago, I did a lot of original artwork for screen printing companies that did mostly T-shirts. One of the ones I did work for used to print transfers all the time. All they did was print the image in reverse on tranfer paper instead of directly on the T-shirt. They used the same plastisol ink on the tranfers as they did with direct screening and ran the tranfers through the dryer just like the shirts. Just call around to some T-shirt printers and I'm sure you'll find one who knows this process. The only thing that I remember being different (other than the image being reversed) was they added a powder to the top of the transfer before they ran it through the dryer. The most popular thing they did was large numbers and team names to be transfered onto softball uniforms and hats. They printed these things by the thousands. I'm sure someone near you does this. It didn't seem to be a trade secret or anything.

Have you looked into dye sub yet. These printers are the answer. I know two companies in town that swear by them.
If you already have the heat press you are on your way.
