By the letter, or by square feet of material or what? We have always charged by letter size, but for orders with multiple copies, ie dot numbers etc, the price seems high even to me...
thanks!
Christian

I use the square foot method. I charge anywhere from $10 to $20 a square foot depending on the material, layers, etc.
I have used the price book before but sometimes it does seem to high. Just use your best judgement.

I charge $10 per linear foot for lettering cut from 15" material.

On graphics I charge 10 cents per square inch basically but I dont do the little stuff like Calvin. I do larger stuff more like vehicle graphic kits.

A second color adds 50% to the cost then I add more for other options like airbrushing.

when i had the shop i did r.t.a. at $4 a sq.ft. or $7.50 a linial foot(12"x18.50")(using 20" intermediate)considering a 150ft roll cost $70.00, figures out to $1125.00 a roll....but with the mobile sign shop....most of what i do is r.t.a. but i charge per cut, do nothing for less then $5, and am charging about $25 a linial foot for intermediate, i usually cut it, weed it, tape it and hand it to the customer...gota get some of them cheapo squeegies with my name on em....yea...there an idea....
