Lately it seems people are coming to me for strange stuff... A couple of weeks ago I lettered a couple of cell phone face plates to look like NASCAR's (very simplified), yesterday I had to put a radio stations logo on the front of an electric guitar (some kind of a promo give away thing) and I am in the process of trying to figure out how to tell a customer that I really don't want to recover and trim out their recptionists desk with laminate to match the sign I did a few months ago. The sign had a oak frame around a piece of mdo covered in laminate. I told them a cabinet or furniture shop would be much cheaper and easier but they just don't want to take no for an answer!

YEAH!! I have a lot of "odd requests" in the last 5 years fer me to do work on weekends!!!!
Why is that?

The lady just asked for a price without telling me what she wanted printed on it........and I didn't ask. I just said $10 sq. ft.!!!! I'm waiting breathlessly for the "go-ahead"!
