Anybody using VE apprentice? I have an older version of flexicut, and although it does okay, I worry that the dongle will wear out or something. I only need a cut program, cause I do all my layouts in Freehand and Illustrator, and typestyler. I'm on a mac. Would appreciate any feedback.

i'm going through the same thing - you might follow the thread i started under "MacSign Lite" for some other software to cut from Illustrator. i was thinking this morning in the truck to look into "apprentice" - what's the price?

I use the expert. You can buy another dongle from GBC supposedly although the tech department does not return calls. I think they were around $50.00 each.
