I had this guy call me up this morning about removing gold foil from his truck.. and you know what that stuff is like.. it's blue murder! Tip #1 always lay down reg. vinyl first, as an outline or shadow under that foil.. it makes it a whole lot easier to remove when it has to be removed... Tip #2 sometimes we are out on jobs removing lettering, and we run out of glue remover, and our supplier is to far away.. Go to your local convenience store and pick up some lighter fluid.. in those handy plastic squeeze bottles, it fits in your shirt pocket, it seals perfectly and it removes glue fast! Pick up a couple of bottles and put them in your install box. they can get you out of a jam.. Neil

WD40 works quicker and slicker than lighter fluid! Just be sure to really clean it off before lettering or sticking!
PS........ 1. Also helps to get 1Shot off your hands. 2. Gets heel marks off floors. 3. Makes a good gun cleaner. 4. Cleans road tar off your car. 5. Lousey underarm deodorant!

I use wd40 and a honed razor blade to get just about anything off a truck, gold foil, mylar, vinyl even sign gold. But Like Si says, clean off the wd good with bonami or alcohol before lettering or sticking. Bill
