Anybody got a cheap corner nocher / hole punch for light gauge aluminium? I saw one that was cool called a maxi press 3 any body know where to get one?


I just don't know where to buy one

Off the question a bit..
Harbor Freight has a slick handheld hole punch for around 30 bux.It has about 6 different dies.....big to small.....
I use mine all the time..will do up to .080 fairly easily....
It looks like an industrial strength leather punch.

What you describe is called a Whitney Punch and is available in any real hardware store. Never saw one that notches corners, does yours?

My punch only makes holes..thats why I said"off the question a bit"
The neat thing about Harbor's punch was the price tag.While it may be a "Nikkie Futso" import it seems to be holding up well..
A corner tool would be handy,specially for multiples jobs.
For one of a kind jobs,I use an old stationary stand mounted belt sander with 16 grit teeth.Pretty quick,but noisy and messy
