I just finished three Freightliner tractors..lettering and some scrollwork. For scrolls,I used one shot with hardener...there was quite a bit of striping to do...toward the end of the 3rd truck, the paint began to stiffen, presumably the hardener was doing its job. At this point...should the paint be thinned a little or should it be thrown away and replaced with a fresh mixed amount?

When in Doubt . .. . .TOSS IT don't try to "doctor up" thickening material to stretch to the end. Consider a small cost of the product as compared to less than perfect results !!

Excellent words of advice.... "When in doubt, toss it" I follow the same rule when venturing into the fridge. LOL It only takes one bout of food poisoning to learn that lesson!

Michael, Sorry to take so long to get back with you regarding your post, I was at the ISA show in Orlando and don't have any way of checking my EMail or reading the BullBoard. (Hey Boss! I need a notebook! hint, hint) Just as Kent and others had answered, once it sets up, it's set up. Reducers will not bring it back. Be sure to dispose of it in a responsible manner. Kevin
