Quill, Hair and Ferrel can most likely answer all your questions regarding brushes. The French Masters such as Raphael were owned by Chromatic and I believe still are and Steve Berman who owned Chromatic, I believe has something to do with Q,H and F.......

I was told quite some time ago that Rapheal
manufactured brushes for several american brands that are imported into the US from France. As Joey mentioned the folks at Q.H.&F. can probably answer any questions you have.
