our twp. has a max of 15 sq. ft.and a charge of $5.00 a sq. ft. per yr. and if you dont have a business in our twp. you dont get to put up a sign!!

Glenn, size restrictions and prohibiting off premiss signs are not strange to anyone, but paying an annual tax on a business sign is a new one to me. We pay the tax on our vehicles and homes, but the fees are adjusted by the changing value of the property. Perhaps they should drop the fee to $3 a foot for faded colors?
