Hey,

I had a quick question for all of you sign experts out there. I recently bought a 2"x10" banner for a vinyl sign. I'm unsure as to what the best way to apply the vinyl to the banner is. The banner is wrinkly even when pulled tightly and securly fastened down. Is there any good tips as to how to get rid of the wrinkles or how to apply the vinyl? Is it better to wet the banner & vinyl then apply?

Any suggestions are highly appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

Hi,
We use a lot of Poly banners which are real cheap and are always wrinkled. We have done them both wet and dry,. Dry works best. Hinge the top of the graphics or lettering to be applied, then left the graphics and peal the back down a little and squeegy the heck out of it, just work your way through it. If you need further help just yell.
Terry

PS we always wipe the banner done with alcohol first.
