I read a post this AM that Dave G posted about resizing the screen in Corel, and decided to do it. He has his set on something like 1200x1600 but he has like a 21 inch monitor, so when I did it, I had to go get a magnifying glass to find the off ramp. His idea is great though. I played around with all the settings until I got what I needed, and walla I'm a HappyJack. Thanks Dave. You can even customize the font size by percentage there in the properties to get exactly what you want....Now that I have a much nicer work area even on my measly little 17 incher, I also have more space at the top right side of the toolbars next to the offramp. I did a little playing with my dockers and by putting three IN THIS ORDER, you can float them up there totally out of the way, and in the "full tuck" position. Left to right View, then color, then shape. Size all to their minimum usable size when open. The view button being number one and on top left will dictate the size of the permanent closed framing of the three. It can be sized down to very small, so all three float as a very small island UP THERE. I have always hated the dockers down in my workspace, and now they reside in the balcony of the OK Corel. The biggest improvement, is you have reasonable control over view available at all times. I have also learned that by holding your button down on a color swatch for one second on a color (on the color bar) will bring up a tone screen with several close choices.
