doing an exterior project where i want to glue a 8"x60" copper panel to a substrate panel of either aluminum (i am aware of electrolysis , but i think the thickness of the adhesive will void that factor) or some other material (perhaps mdo, although i hate using it for anything)........i have used weldwood contact cement before for another project, but was told recently that it is not made for exterior use ??...any ideas ? something that's easy to spread (unlike silicone from a tube)...thanks....vance

Signcraft had a blurb about Dexter Corporation and their industrial adhesive systme ("better than welding") in the July 2000 issue. 800-767-8786. The applicator looks like some kinda tube contraption but with copper to aluminum you might not have a lot of choices.
