OK, Shortreeds, where are you? What's your plan? When do you fly away? What would you think of a bunch of folks with paint under their fingernails and vinyl scraps stuck to their ears grouping at the terminal pressing noses against the glass and waiving goodbye? We sure enjoyed your visit and welcome your soon return. The warmth and enjoyment of the comraderie is mutual, I'm certain. Bon Voyage.

Last I heard they were heading to So. San Francisco to meet up with an old school buddy ...I believe they wanted to get to Montery and San Jose before flying out on Thursday from San Fran.

We spent Sunday with my old school buddy Jim touring Half Moon Bay in his brand new Jag. Looks like the stock broker trade has been very good until the last few months.
On Monday, we took a drive down the coastal highway, thru Santa Cruz, and on to Monterery.
This is a beautiful spot and the sunshine feels great! We are both worn out, so I think we will spend another night here before heading North. We are still hoping to meet Ken Morse in Santa Cruz and PSS in Santa Jose, but time is rapidly running out.
The rental car is supposed to be returned Wednesday. We're flying stand-by with United, so our list of possible flights home are limited and subject to 2 seats being open after everyone else has boarded.
We've been looking at a direct flight from San Francisco to Toronto just after 1pm on Thursday. There is another at the same time Friday if we don't make that one.
I had hoped to get back to Petaluma and see Warren Percell, but at this point, I just don't see any way to pull that off. There are a few other things we wanted to do and see, but time has just ran out on us. If we have let anyone down, please try and forgive us. We promise to return and make things right.
This trip has been a 40 year dream come true. We've had the good fortune to see so many people and places. It's not easy to say good-bye.
