I can't copy in omega and paste back into artpath anymore. Gerber says they are coming out with a new artpath soon. Doesn't really do me any good right now. does anyone know a way around this? other than saving as 6.2 and opening that up into artpath.
mind you i'm having alot of fun with omega I think they've done a great job. I'm a pretty big edge user and on that end of it I think it's great. Now if they can only figure out a way to make multiple fades done easy using spot colours. I'll just wait for that one.

Wayne,

Unfortunately I am not aware of any other productive means to overcome this obstacle. It could exist, I’m just not aware of it. And yes, Gerber will be releasing a new ArtPath soon (could not get a definition of “soon”). It will be a two-step process, with step one moving to 32-bit architect. This release will have little or no feature enhancement over the current ArtPath program. Step two will build upon the stable code base to add functionality that is desperately needed to make it a more robust production tool.

I encourage you to email Gerber at gsptech@gspinc.com with your ART Path “wish list.” This should contain not only items that you would like to see added, but also functionality that you currently like. There is a long wish list already, but it can always accept more. You can't fix what is broken if you don't know it is broken!

If you are running ArtPath 6.2.1.6, do you like the group/ungroup feature? What about the ability to control, somewhat, acceleration? What router are you currently using?
