Just got a request for work that described the finish on aluminum as ZIGGLED? Anyone got a notion as to what that is? We think it is just an eradic finish much like marbling in faux finish but we aren't for sure.

Duuuhh! Ever thought of asking the person who specified "Ziggled" what they mean? Whatever we come up with, will probably be light years away from what they expect!

Hey Robert Im Workin Away on the Meet logo as for the Ziggled finish I would imagine they are talkin about aluminum with random grinder or disc sander markings we use that quite a bit its a popular finish around here. Just break out your grinder or sander (be careful with grinder you dont want to gouge it) and go nuts or you can make up loose patterns etc. even a cooler look also falling under the ziggled category is ( if you have a router table ) stick a wire brush in the spindle and design your pattern in the puter and let it rip over aluminum. All ya got to do is clean and clearcoat when your done.
