For one particular job (elevator doors). She would prefer a satin finish instead of gloss. I saw discussion on this on another post (couldn't find it again).
Since it's indoors, I'm thinking....would it be possible to put a coat of clear satin water-based varathane over the pelucid to give it a satin finish.
The distributor here said you could repaint over it with a sanding to rough it up.
So, that's where my mind started going. Does it sound worth trying?

We're still testing with the flattening agent from DuPont. It appears to keep everything crystal clear, but I need a few more days with different paints and colors.
