Hello,

I can't seem to find my manual on the PNC 1210. I want to slow the darn thing down. Cutting is just fine, however when it wants to move to a different spot on the vinyl it flat a@@ FLYS!

Which setting do I need to adjust? The menu isn't super clear to me.

Thanks!

Brian, piece of cake. I discovered this accidently one day.

Press the menu key. This brings you to your cut settings with program #, tool speed, offset and down force.

Hit the right arrow to page thru the menu. First press takes you to cut speed. Second press takes you to blade offset. Third press goes to blade downforce. Fourth press takes you to the next menu which is your UP speed. UP speed is the speed the cutter head moves to the next cutting area. You can change this value with the up and down arrow. The speed settings are just like the cutting speed. Default is 85 cm/s. I just tried mine at 20 cm/s and it slowed the moving speed down considerably, but did not affect cutting speed.

If you right arrow from the UP setting it will take you to the normal setting which with the up and down arrow pages you thru Normal, Hi speed, and Heavy cutting options.

The manual states this:
This sets the cutting quality. Ordinarily this is left set to "NORMAL." When rapid cutting is desired, such as when cutting a large sheet, set this to "HI-SPEED." When load is large, or if the sheet is not cut smoothly, or when small text is to be cut attractively, set this to "HEAVY."

That should do it . Good luck.
