Hey TBUK - It was "payback time" last night as Barb & Steve ventured out with me to check out the area. I drove. We've got really nice windy, steep roads here, which I'm quite used to, after 30 years of being in this area. One particular road is hairpin turns, going straight up, and only wide enuff for two small huyandi's. I've got an older Subaru ('87) stick. To get up these hills I jam it in third, rev it up, jam it in second and fly up the hill so I don't have to stop & put it in first. Goin 30-40 around hairpin turns (I got really goooood tires that hug the roads). Whoooooooeeeeeeeee - Steve closed his eyes. I could hear him suck in his breath many times! Barb said she felt quite lucky to be in the back seat. Steve wanted to change places with her. But alas, I could not stop - had to git up the hill! After all was said & done and we arrived safely back home, Steve offered to pay me the same rate for going on the rides at Disneyland! LOL - what fun! Anyone wanna go for a Sunday drive with me? Hi Jackie.......aint they sumthin'? Steve and Barb are wonderful people. I tend to be sort of reserved, but they just sat down and began talking....and are so easy to get to know and talk to. I can tell they genuinely want to get to know each and every Letterhead. Have a wonderful time while they are visiting. I wish I could come to your turkey dinner. Say hello to my buddy Cisco when he gets there. OH and P.S........tell them I drive like a little old lady......so not to worry when they make it to Seattle.
