Hmmm... my latest happy piece is "Get Happy" by Judy Garland, sung in 1954 in the movie Summer Stock. I've got the singing down to a tee on that piece now
But as for Modern Music, LeAnne Rimes, with "Can't fight the Moonlight", "Right Kind of Wrong" and "But I do Love you"...
Current favourites also include "Cruisin" by Huey Louis and Gwenith Paltrow
There ya go That's what I'll be listening to when I start trying out Timi's brushes... Got the brushes, and got the paint... I'm almost there!

Right now I'm listening to Steely Dan's Two against nature. It's a cool album, but I'm still scratching my head how they won the Grammy for album of the year??? No-one's heard of it down under here. I guess it gets some airplay over there? I love their "Alive in America" album though!

Kinda weird, but Saturday I had the radio on. The station was paying the featured album of the week. Turned out to be your pick from last week "Houston Kid" by Rodney Crowell......nice stuff by the way. We were working on the race car that day, I was putting togeteher the short block using file to fit rings ( any gear head knows this is tedious and frustrating ) the radio started playing Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks.........funny but the tedium went away

Hey Santo, What do you do in Youngsville for Mardi Gras? I've always kinda wanted to go to Crowley but don't want to miss seeing al my old friends in my hometown of Covington. We have met at the same place for 30 or more yrs. now. In just a little while I'm packing up all my goodies so I can get an early start. My little 9 yr. old grand-daughter has made a sign on coroplast that says "Throw Me Something GOOD Mr.!" She thinks it will help her get more loot! Anyway whatever you and yours are doing, have a good one and indulge before lent.

Well Mark, it is Tuesday and I just read your post. I finally got my internet hooked up this am. YEAAAAA
Anyways, today I am listening to my "Journey" CD's as I seen a show on VH1 last night and it seems that Steve perry has left the band due to a disagreement on rather he should have had hip replacement surgery or not. Not going there right now.
They have a new lead singer who amazingly looks like steve with a perm and sounds alot like him, ALOT!!!
I wish they would have chosen someone else, it will not be the samne to listen to without Steve, especially this guy imitating him. He is very good, just not the same for me....
