I'm thinking of going to the Las Vegas show, but I'm having problems finding some info. I did find the web page, but could not find the answer to my questions ...Where is the address for the Las Vegas Convention Centre and is there any hotels offering a package deal? I tried to find this info but did not have any luck. Appreciate it if you could help. Bren

Hi Brenda....I may be going also. Last time I went I stayed in a nice hotel close by the convention center. (across from the Hard Rock cafe) But it was too far from the main action. So this time I will stay on the strip, and take a cab to the convention.
I looked up the Hilton, nice place, but I think I will go with Cheryl suggestion and stay on main drag. We are planning on staying a week and making a holiday out of it, so it would probably be easier to stay on the main drag so we don't have to rent a car for earlier in the week.
Have you guys made arrangements to hook up on a date or time? It would be great to get together outside of the sign show for dinner or maybe a entertainment act of some kind.

Hi Brenda, You might also try ( on a search engine ) just finding a Las Vegas, site and they have hundreds of listings some with rates as well. Don't miss this show, it is big and lots to see & learn. Been doing this since 88' When I introduced "RAPID TAC " to the industry along with my partners in Orlando. That was then. There are also shuttles coming and going all day, to and from the convention center. Some are sponsored by the ISA and some by companies at the show. Take a shuttle from the airport, they take you right to the hotel for a set price where as the cabs take forever to get you there from the airport. Cabs, are the best for getting around from the hotel though, especially when you know where your going. There are quite a few things at the show for commercial signists to do and see and don't forget to look for Kent Smith, at the GOLD LEAF specialties booth. Rick Glawson, and others will be there and go to the Signs of the Times, sign museum display and meet Tod Swormstedt, he's a cool guy. Thas'it .....................CrazyJack

Heres where I usually stay: Royal Hotel & Casino 1-800-634-6118 Its not the Hilton but almost as close with a walk of about a block and a half. Its only 8 stories high, the top 4 are the rooms. Its an older place but has always been clean in the past. Thurs. nite $45, Fri & Sat $65ea. Its located right between "the Strip"(1/2 block) and the Covention Center. Also at the Airport besides Taxis there are Limos that go to the Strip and charge individually. Used to be $10 a head, but sure it is more now, but still worth checking out. I would rather stay at Mandalay Bay, but kinda pricey and too far, although we did sneak into their "pool area". I hope we have "pool weather", but lately you never know what youre goig to get. We got our rooms already,...ask them to send you a confirmation you opt for the Royal,....who spends time in a Hotel Room anyway? C'ya there.
