I have only had my router for a month. What you charge?
3/16 Acrylic (provided by customer)
Cut into 36" dia Circle.
28 Pieces.

To do this you must unload material (14)sheets
with forklift
move material to router
set-up router
change sheets (2) perple required.
dispose of excess material

There was a big discussion recently on the Shopbot forum www.shopbottools.com on caluclating cut time. They analyzed it pretty thouroughly if you want to make a science of it.

Otherwise, you could estimate all your setup and ancillary costs + "aircut" a 36" circle on your machine and add a little time for the machine to move to the next circle.

As for how much $$$ router cutting goes for on the open market, I haven't figured that one out yet either.

Rick,

I priced the job at $ 12.50-$ 15.00 per piece. I figured 1/2 hour per sheet.

50.00 per hour/2=25.00/2=12.50.
I think it's reasonable. The other price may have been 7.00 ea. I don't think thats enough.
