Cheryl is right, but the illusion of fancy wrappers etc., makes the mind think one is better. Same for a lot of beer, except for some. Sam Adams is very good.(OT on this OT post)

Yeah yer right.. it's all good, I dont think I've ever turned down any chocolate except dark chocolate.. I just cant eat that stuff plain, but it's fine in chocolate chip cookies..
It's kinda funny.. me and my mom are notorious chocolate fiends.. Monday night I was about to run to the store to get some chocolate to munch on when I noticed a package that came in the mail for me. I opened it up and there's a package of Dove milk chocolates for Valentine's Day. She read my mind, that the same chocolate I was gonna get! hehe..
I sent her one of her favorite treats.. chocolate covered strawberries from Merb's.. hopefully they wont get smashed on their way.

Did Somebody mention chocolate? I am a true chocoholic, I admit it. I have been known, when there's no chocolate in the house, to eat Hershey's syrup with a teaspoon! Yuk, I know. But when ya gotta have it, ya gotta have it. My personal favorite is Barkus Chocolates, made right here in Butler, PA. But I absolutely refuse to eat "fake" chocolate-flavored chocolate. Nobody got ME any for Valentine's -WAA- but I did get my kids some, so maybe they'll share. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! You are ALL my true loves. Jill

There is a huge difference with cheap chocolates vs expensive chocolates, however I love pretty well all of it. It all depends on what mood I'm in. The expensive chocolate appears richer to me so you don't 'need' as much.
The best chocolate around here is Purdy's. It's mandatory one inhales the full box to achieve a chocolate high before indulging.

For you chocolate lover's - here's the real scoop. Most chocolates sold "over-the-counter" contain less than 15% cacao beans. Gourmet chocolate can range anywhere from 30% to 75%, hence Gourmet. Each gourmet chocolatier uses a specific cacao bean to produce a specific taste. There are Venezuelan, Brazilian, South African, etc., cacoa beans, each imparting it's own special flavor. Hershey's is mostly fillers, not much cacoa. You haven't seen me on the BB much as I don't do signs anymore , except for some design work for others. For you poor, poor dears East of the MS....you may not know of the wonders of See's Chocolates....and i am so very sorry for you...but, hey, there is just not enough of it to share with you.
Only those of us in the west can indulge.

Oh yeah... See's is great too! I lucked out bein born and raised JUST west of the MS river, A.. =)
Jill, I've been there before.. 'cept I usually just wrap my mouth around the syrup bottle cap and squeeez... then I realized we had bread and peanut butter, and that makes the syrup go down much smoother..
I've even been known to tear into powdered hot chocolates and just eat the powder right out of the packet.
When you gotta have it, ya just gotta have it!
