In January we were heavy into design work for a massive job that promised to be the biggest of our career. I spent the month at my design table cranking out as many wild ideas as I could think of. It was a fun, productive month!
February took us to Florida and Disneyworld for a couple of weeks for some R&R (rest & research).
When we returned the big job was put on hold (it still is pending) But there was lots more to keep us busy! We went right into designing a couple other big projects during the next 6 weeks.
In April/May we decided to buy the property and build a new shop. The many details that entailed along with opening Giggle Ridge for the season meant long, long hours.
In June we first moved into the new house and then I was off to Illinois working long hours to pull off the miracle murals project.
July, August and September were spent doing triple duty building the new shop, running Giggle Ridge and keeping the fires stoked in the Imagination Corporation.
October and November were spent away on the road doing the big project in West Edmonton Mall.
December went by in a blur as we started another major project in the shop. This job also involved four quick trips to Vancouver Island. Then it was time for a houseful of guests during the holiday season here at Giggle Ranch. The last week has been especially hectic as I tried to get ahead of my crew in preparation to leave for a few weeks of R&R (rest & research) in Florida once again.
We are very thankful for the bounty of choice work this past year, but look forward immensely to decompressing from the effects of such a hectic work schedule.
I don't often make new year's resolutions, but this next year I plan to slow down a bunch and enjoy family and friends much more. We will get even more selective of the work we take on, gving us more time for the things we love!

It kind of comes with being "on the cutting edge"...I suspect you'll be eating into this resolution...but face it, your doing what you love to do...and we love reading about it.
Happy New Year Dan
