For the past week I've been trying to get things together so I could travel down to L.A. and visit with my lady friend and my nephew and family, I haven't been out of Oregon except for a funeral last year. Last Friday I made an appointment at Chevy to have the tires rotated and the front-end aligned on the van, well needless to say the freakin van needs everything including brakes. My Valiant is still in need of the motor pulled because in went south in September. The plumber promised to install the Infra-Red heater before the winter set in and its way to cold inside to work there. The dilemma doesn't stop here as I always have more then one or two vehicles at my disposal, so I figure my chances are still good, yeah right! I would travel 1500 miles round trip in the Mercedes and all I have to do is install a freakin radio. So I go to my striping shop and there I find a huge water leak in the office and vehicles spread from one end to the next. It seems like a giant quagmeyer is following me everyday in this town. Jason, my partner at the shop is redocorating and removal of the office is at 1/2 throttle and all its belonging is in my space. Jason tells me not to be upset as I can use the 02 Honda when it returns Saturday from another friend who borrowed it, well today is Monday and it still isn't here.
Guess I'm destined to spend Christmas and every other freakin holiday in this virtural reality of a medium sized U.S. town as long as I live or at least it seems this way.
The balls of some people to think that because of my age they could just pacify this old man with gifts and promises which makes me want to load my freakin gun and knock on their door.
And a Merry Christmas to you too

Jeez, Joey, you youngster, what's this old man ****? I'm surprised at you, here you are 60 and the first lesson of life hasn't crept into your world of truthes. It's simple, ALL, not one or two, but ALL have their own agenda and if it matches yours(seldom), then that's a good thing, if not, it's known as LIFE. Though I can relate to your car problems, aggravating huh? Relax, take a toke, everythings ok, you'll be fine you ol scrouge you.....heh-heh At this time I wish to bestow upon you my greetings of the season in hopes life is smoother for you in the future, here's hoping the car fairy will do something nice and cure one or all of your car problems for you, or at least cut you some slack so you can. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR JOEY, I LOVE YA BRO...........frank

Joey, I know there has to be a rent a car somewhere in the city you live in, why stress over a vehicle that you'll have to worry about when you are going on a long trip. I had to go to the border last week for family matters, found out my brakes were bad on my truck, so I rented a new car, and felt good not having to worry about car problems or what else can happen. With all that money you're making, $hit rent me one too Be happy bro don't worry

Actually I really wanted to visit with several Letterheads, and car rental going out of state is a real pain. So now without a radio in the 450, I'll only drive as far as Redding and visit with my friend Jeff Crank. Jeff and his family are good friends of mine and I should have a nice time. On the other hand, I would have liked to visit with my nephew to see his new home and ask where my ten grand that he borrowed from me is invested.
Maybe next time
Happy Holidays

All that's holding you back is lack of a radio? Stop and grab a battery operated one ... pack the bong with misteltoe and be on your way. Enjoy!

I was planning to go to a Kentucky sign meet once. The week before, I wrecked my truck and got all upset because I couldn't make the sign meet. Well, a couple of days before I was to leave I get this call from the local Enterprise rental office to do some sign work. While doing the work, I inquired about renting a vehicle to go to the sign meet. Best time on the road I ever had didn't cost that much either. No worries about my vehicle breaking down, just keep gas in the rental and go man. Heck, it was so much fun that I decided on the way home to divorce my ole lady...(she wasn't along..)
