Some of you are experiencing problems logging in here at The Letterville BullBoard. Everyday Barb gets a couple e-mails from users reporting problems. She always works with those having problems on an individual basis, but we are worried about those that just get frustrated and give up. We hope you are able to use this post to isolate and solve your log-in issues. In most cases, it's just one simple thing that is causing the problem. Here's the most common mistakes.
1. Are you using the correct URL to enter Letterville?
It's amazing how many are using letterheads.com instead of letterhead.com. Both will get you here, but only one address allows you to log-in and enjoy all the features. The correct address is letterhead.com Check all your bookmarks to the site to insure they are set to letterhead.com. Dropping that "s" will often cure all your log-in issues. The correct address for the BB is www.letterhead.com/ubb
2. Is your e-mail address correct?
People are constantly changing providers and/or changing their e-mail address. If you have changed your e-mail address, we would appreciate you letting us know. Last night, we e-mailed all registered BB users to wish them Season's Greetings, inform them about the current poll and Bill Riedel's wonderful Letterhead Portrait slideshow. Several bounced back due to changed email addresses. If you are registered to post here and never received this email, we need to hear from you ASAP. Email Barb with all your current contact information. Be sure to include your old email address. It makes Barb's job much easier.
3. Are your cookies set correctly?
This bulletin board uses cookies to store the following information: the last time you logged in, your login identification, and your preferred "topic view." These cookies are stored on your browser. Cookies are not used to track your movement or perform any function other than to enhance your use of the message board. If your browser does not support cookies, or you have not enabled cookies on your browser, many of these time-saving features will not work properly and you will not be able to post new messages.
