I'm getting into pinstriping (have some years experience signwriting back 15yrs ago) and I have 2 Xcalibur swords (000 & 0000) but I want to do some nice swirly lines too and don't know which brushes to go for?
Any advice most welcome, I hear Wizard's are pretty cool but which ones?

Jenson Swirly Qs are super - I don't remember where I got mine from- they come in 2 sizes, I use both.
Also the Dick Blick Eclipse series in 6 sizes are very good - maybe even better than the JSQ - I am looking at a #3 which has a number 490121 on it - may be the series #? I have a 1, 3 and a 6. These are the ones Steve Kafka uses (and I make a miserable attempt) to do his unique style of striping.
None of these brushes are very expensive - good purchase price, good tools. All are good for swirling and outlining.

I'll be trying the Jenson Swirly's then, wish i could get them a bit easier over here in good ol' Blighty! Pinstriping brushes are almost impossible to track down over in the UK

Hi Brian, There are at least 3 companies in the UK that sell lining brushes; Handovers (London) Wrights of Lymme (Cheshire) Habberley Meadows (Birmingham)

A Mack Jenson Swirly Q works nice but tends to lay a heavy line. I had Gary trim a long liner I had and it works ten times better than the Mack. The trimming he did was pretty radical, took the brush down to maybe one fifth it's original size. After using the trimmed brush, the Mack felt like a cutter.
