Just wondering if anyone would be interested in letterville starting a birthday corner? This would enable all of us to see whose birthday it is and be able to send wishes or post. I hate to miss anyone (that is if you celebrate, as some don't, I know). Would anyone be interested? It's so hard to keep track, as my hard drive goes down sometimes and I lose precious info, or don't get it in as organized as I would like. Life gets busy, and it would help a lot of us out if it were right here in Letterville in one place. What do you think? Steve and Barb, is it possible? Maybe we could list events such as special days and spouses birthdays or births of babies, or awards of our kids, maybe a one liner, but, most of all birthdays for those who wish to reveal! Well, we won't demand correct ages! This goes for other things too, if Steve and Barb have room. What's your take on this?

Deb, I think Barb has a little birthday cake doo-hickey she posts by our pic on our special day. She asked my permission to enable mine, I said "sure". Just another resident perk! Love- JILL

And all it will take is a couple more hours for both Barb and Steve to add this to their already over burdened job of running Letterville. I'm amazed by the do-gooders offering more work for them two. How about another forum for those who are banned from this one

Deb, If you click on CALENDAR up by the IM spot, you will get a regular calendar that shows some important dates and birthdates on it already.

My close friends know when my birthday is. Actually, there was a thread they started to taunt me over it. As for remembering when someone's birthday is, that's why I have a dayrunner. I see no need to add more work for Steve & Barb, they already have enough to deal wtih, because I'm too lazy to pick up a pen & write something on the calendar.
And once again, I agree with Joey. Man, it still sends shivers down my spine when that happens.

Anyone, Resident or Visitor, that has their Birthday listed in The Letterville Database will see a Birthday Cake icon beside their name on their Birthday. Take a few minutes right now to make sure all your database info is uo to date.
To edit your info in the database, go to http://www.letterhead.com/edit.cgi and enter your ID & password. Please note this is not the same username and password you use to logon to this BB. If you have forgotten or lost your database info, please e-mail me at barb@letterhead.com and I'll send it out to you.
Listing Birthdays on the Calendar is possible, but just not practical. With over 4,100 registered users at the BB alone, it would be a mess at best. The Calendar does give information about upcoming Letterhead and other sign related trade shows. If you are having a meet, or notice any omissions, please let us know about it.

Sounds good to me, thanks for the info. I did see the area to check if you didn't want the bday to be shown. Well, Steve and Barb, you have thought of everything, sorry I didn't mean to make anymore work for you... but, that's how we find out, by asking, right? I'll look for the icons you mentioned, thank you for clearing it up.
