Very cool! A little girl all ready to wrap you around her little tiny finger. My husband has never been the same...he and my daughter have the most amazing bond.

Mike.. Congratulations to you and your Mrs. and best wishes with that little pink bundle. Girls are fun to dress! But after she turns 16 like my daughter did yesterday, please try to remember how sweet and cute and innocent she is right now. Hell hath no fury like a hormonal teen caught in the throes of PMS, driving, and zitty testosterone-laden boyfriends! Enjoy. Sorry if I scared you! Love- JILL

Jill, The whole time I was pregnant with Sam (Samantha) my husband kept insisting that he wanted a boy...I thought it was the typical male-I-want-a-son thing but he finally admitted that he was scared to death to have a girl and have to deal with all of the boyfriend stuff, etc.

Kimberly, was his fear really that he would have to deal with boyfriends or was he really just afraid she'd bring home a guy that reminded him of himself at that age? And that he remembers what he was like at that age.

I have three daughters(4,6,&11) and that is my biggest fear Kissy. I already told my wife that when my daughter goes on her first date I am going to be cleaning one of my shotguns. I am going to have the rest laid out for him to see. Hopefully that will get his attention and he can spread the word about me to all of his friends.
Sorry Mike, I forgot to congratulate you.

LOL! Kissy, I remember having this HUGE fight with my father when I was 17. He HATED my boyfriend at the time and didn't want me to see him. Midway through the yelling match, my father said exactly what you just wrote.

That is just wonderful! I know nothing about little girls, in my family the babies are boys. I don't know if this is your first. Happy Days and my very best wishes!

just like Christmas morning is what I felt when I had my first, Samara Ann. That was 30 years ago,(as I also have Justin, 28, and Arthur 15), and then when she had her firstborn, a girl also, they named her Alayna Grace, right on the 4th of July. !(my daughter Samara has been high maintenance from 11 years old on: the photos, her nice cars, nail and hair done, clothes horse, yearbook editor, and all around social butterfly, including assistant to wrestling team in high school! girlie stuff and tomboy all in one! get ready...well, she's a hard worker and excellent Mom, so it is all worth it!
What a blessing, Mike! have fun, cause it doesn't get any better than this! Cheers! oh by the way, have you purchased her architectural erector set yet??? well get on it! and do include some pinks in the color selection! the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

I'm dead tired, forgetting to eat meals because I'm too busy watching and worrying about my little one, but the smallest little smile (I know it's just gas) out of him totally makes my day!
Hope everything is going well with you and your new family.
