Our Own Catherine Foster of Cowdenbeath, Fife, Scotland, is now the Cumbria Kart Racing Club 2003 Gearbox Champion!
Pretty good for a lassie, huh? Not only does she paint on these things, she races them too!

Hey Jill, I raced those crazy things for nine years. I also was a road race track champ. Karting is really cool but way to expensive. I had to get out of it. There is nothing like doing over a hundred miles an hour an inch off the ground with no roll cage. WAY TO GO CATHERINE!!!

Congratulations Catherine! Winning a championship, in any form of racing, is a great accomplishment. Karting is very competitive, and expensive. Sometimes more so than racing cars. If you're ever here in the states, maybe you can give our Land Speed Racer a try? Stay warm and keep it WFO!
