Joe, the correct spelling in DINING. Dave, the British must have a quirky sense of humour, we have a friend visiting from the Isle of Man and he said he thought it strange when he saw signs advertising "Live Bands", he remarked, 'have you every seen a DEAD band playing?' Actually, I've seen a few bands I thought were dead.

one of the funniest signs I ever saw actually made me turn around so I could go photograph it. it was a home made sign lettered in of all things Electrical Tape!
it looked like this:
PUP PIES FOR SALE
It was on a bord 12" wide and 4' tall!
I guess you really can't hyphenate puppies!
man it was funny, I wanted to get a pie tin and fill it with whipped cream and stuffed doggie tails with a cherry on top and have my picture taken with it. hmmm, I wonder what flavor they where, I hope not french poodle they give me the hives every time I've ever eaten one! hahahah Mike

A friend of mine makes reproductions of antique furniture. I wanted to make him a sign that said "Custom Made Antiques". He didn't go for the idea.

In our small town, there are signs in the parking lots where kids hang out on Friday nights that say "No Un-necessary driving" Dah. I wonder what intelligent city politician came up with that one.
