Guerilla Marketing, 2nd edn, I found one of the singularly most useful books I had- I've often said that. It came up again in the gross $100K thread, so I thought I'd do a search and see if I could buy another copy (I never remembered who I lent it to & it's not been returned). This website lists stacks of them Guerilla Marketing books website
Guerilla Marketing is the primary book, now in its 3rd edition, followed by its sequel Guerilla Marketing Attack, then G.M. Weapons, then the dozen or so others- worth browsing.

They are all good, but in my experience some of them are "repackagings" of information, so it's best to stand in a bookstore and check 'em before buying.
Great series!

Thanks Ian, between you and Gavin's high marks, I think I'll go grab one for myself If I later want to read further, I'll take your advice Mark, but 2 votes on the first book sounds good enough for me.

Another good book along the same lines is "Streetfighting: Low-Cost Advertising/Promotion Strategies for Your Small Business". I picked it up a couple of months ago. It's been a pretty good read.

Yes, Marks's right- there is a bit or repackaging- I think Guerilla Marketing Attack is a bit of the first two books, rebadged. If you read the reviews of several, some get heaps of praise, some get a thumbs down. Some people say that Mike Levine's Guerilla PR Wired is better than some of Levinson's books, others say the opposite, and vehemently so. Then there's Rick Laermer's Full Frontal- gaining praise and damning from equal numbers. The original Guerilla Marketing is still a good book tho'. Best wishes
P.S. does anyone have any opinions or reccommendations on Guerilla Marketing Attack, GM Weapons, GM Hitbook, GM & Technology, GM Publicity, or any others- it'd be interesting to hear them?
