I spent the morning trimming my palm tree, and picking up dead branches and debris that have fallen out of my oak trees.
Why am I telling you this? Well, with Thanksgiving tomorrow, and having just started another lap around the sun yesterday, the reason is simply for the sake of expressing gratitude. I felt compelled to do just that, "out loud" here.
About a month ago, I threw my back out. Those of you who have ever suffered from extreme back pain can surely appreciate some of hurt, not to mention the "inconveniences" all that entails.
One month ago the mere act of bending down to pick up a stick was impossible for me.
Who'd of thought I could be so grateful to be able to do such a simple act again? Today I see that in a different light.
So, just take good care of yourselves my friends, and appreciate whatcha got! Even the simple stuff.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Nettie

glad to hear the mend is working for you Nettie. Nothing much worse than back pains. There are things worse, but usually MUCH worse
