Thanks Matty, I'm in! ...hope i know what I'm getting into though, this auction site is different enough from eBay, that I'm a little confused (sounds like a gov't agency so far ) I put myself in the top spot & will wake up a little early to see whats happening with the auction tomorrow. Seems like a bunch of old printer stuff I don't want thrown in. No where that I see to say that the equipment is in working order either. The phone numbers are not 24 hr., so I'll look into things further tomorrow if I've been outbid (which I certinly expect to be)

Doug, I have always had good success in these auctions, most of it is army stuff. They most likely closed a department somewhere and just get rid of everything. You could always sell the all the other bits on Ebay or take Teds advice. LOL I would have a real go at this auction but my Laser engraver had just blown its laser tube, have to hand over $4600. for a new one.

well the H7 "condition rating" does not look too promising. I sent out a few emails last night & got one reply pointing me to the H7 (thank you too Elaine) I am still the high bid so that is also somewhat nervewracking, & also kind cool. My second email was a ph. # to call with inquiries, so maybe I'll get a little more specifics on the un-repairable status. The edge & Envision booth lookwell cared for, & should at least have parts worth the current bid price (that is , if I ever need those parts) Shipping is another concern since this is on a different island, but I have my proper shipping containers, so I could go pick them up, sell the other crap at the Honolulu swap meet for plane fare, & coordinate the pack & ship of the gerber stuff in my own crates.... I may just get a little vacation this year after all

OK, I dropped out at $1750. Decided to let the wife in on the decision making at that point & she said, "you don't need 2", & "you don't have any more time anyway, & no one who could run one if you had the jobs to need 2" Oh well, rational logic has messed up a good day of gambling before I'm sure.
40 minutes left... bid stands at $1800 right now. (I'm jealous )
*edit* went for $2600
