We cross paths with many people during the course of our day. It's probably normal not to think of each one in a profound way because they're doing their jobs and nothing eventful happens.
If you're picking up a drive-thru coffee, give a second thought to the gal in the window handing you your change. You get the idea. It's the little things that enhance our lives, so why not appreciate those that make those things happen flawlessly for us.
I read somewhere to attempt to say "You've made my day." to at least one person on that day. I was able to hand that compliment out within 5 minutes when I really thought about who I was dealing with at the time. Why not make their day by telling them they make yours?

LOL Mike! You are running very late in your mini goals buddy! Time to get that desk done already!
Incidently, I thanked the gal who handed me my coffee this AM, told her "Thanks for making it just right every morning for me. It's a great start to my day." She giggled and probably thought I was a weirdo.
