I found out through the grapevine that there is a author looking for someone to illustrate his new aviation book. I know the authors name, but, I need to find an e-mail address to bid on this job. He lives in Europe, so I could call, if I want my wife to kill me when we get the bill.
I have searched the net using just his name- no go
I have contacted his publisher, and they were no help.
Any fresh idea's, cause I'm fresh out.
Thanks- Anyone,(1), who leads me to the arrest and conviction...., gets a Sturgis Rally T-shirt, (a good one, not a POS)

I did a search for "aviation author" and had lots of leads, but without a name I dont know what to look for.
You could also try searching by the name of the publisher, you might stumble across a "fan site" that has his info there along with his publisher's name, ie: use the publisher's name to find the author on related sites.

I have a friend here in Ottawa that publishes a magazine/aviation manual called From the Ground Up by Aviation Publishers, he apparently is the publisher of the bibles of aviation around the world, I'm sure with a name he will be able to track down your author

Hey Steve, Some cell phones have free airtime regardless of where the phone call is made to. I dont know if yours will do it nor do I know if mine will, but I had read somewhere that certain plans allow long distance virtually worldwide. I know I can call Canada for no extra charge anyway.
Besides, what would a 2 minute phone call to Europe cost you? Call the person and ask for an E-mail address, or leave them yours to get in touch with you???
Good Luck!
