Hello, Does anyone have an ideas on anchoring a sign into sandstone with concrete behind it? We have tried to use a cement filler, 8 in expanding bolts and its not tightening up and holding. We are at a loss here, any ideas please?

Try using anchoring epoxy available at building supply stores catering to real contractors.
Have a great one!

Perhaps you could drill (deep) holes into the underlaying 'crete, and cement in lengths of "alll thread" using a product called "Rockite", or another brand of cement adhesive. I've used Rockite often to anchor hardware for (hanging) sign brackets in old brick walls. Works great here...good luck there.
Ok, we got it:) we used anchoring epoxy this time, could not find Rockite around here. But it feels really strong and the customer is happy, and I can sleep at night again:)...
Thanks for all the help Bruce and W.R. David
