Be sure and check out Ryan's incredible work on gun stocks in the latest issue. What we really want to know, though, is who the foxy babe in the picture is???????

i've seen some of the elements, but not the entire assembled rifles. if anyone can scan and post, please do. Ryan does great work, it's good to see him getting some nice pub.

you can see more of Ryan's work if you go through the Letterville Gallery (older archives) to see some of the other helmets and etc.

Congrats!

You can see more of Ryan's work at 81x.com\paintedguns\PhotoAlbum

He didn't know he was in the magazine until I showed it to him this weekend.

We could shoot sporting clays at the Civil War meet with my newly painted gun if anyone is interested.

Very cool stuff, Ryan!
Kinda like guns-meet-motorcycle tanks. Who woulda thunk you could paint on that?
Neat idea & awesome work.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It is great when one of your peers asks you to let him put some pics of your work in the letterhead magazine. To see it with the quality of work in that magazine is a thrill.

The girl in the pic was a Wild Turkey girl from Pa. She was all over me, it took me an hour to talk her into putting her clothes on long enough to take the picture! Just kidding I never saw her they sent me the pic back from the Wild Turkey shoot in Pa.

AMAL is a magazine about Letterheads...now being headed up from Pittsburgh by my pal Jeff Lang...formerly run by my good-smellin' buddy Doc Welty.

Henry, I haven't seen mine yet either and I'm only an hour from Jeff Lang. [Frown]

I spoke with him today and he said some others close to him haven't received theirs but people in other countries have. I just think my mailman is smoking crack again. In which case, I should have it by January.

Are you trying to tell me there is someone in Letterville that isn't getting A Magazine About Letterheads? You're missing a real treat!

I have 3 favorite mags. All are published by people that are formerly, or currently sign makers and or Pinheads. They know and love the sign biz at a personal level and it shows in their magazine.

A Magazine About Letterheads was the brainchild of Doc Welty and David Butler. Neither of these guys really need any introduction. Their reputations and work have inspired us all for well over 20 years.

Doc is still very much involved with the magazine, but Jeff Lang, owner of Olde Lang Signs in Sewickley, PA is at the wheel these days. Jeff is another longtime Letterhead and a pretty nice guy to boot. It even says that in the magazine. We've never slept with Jeff, but we did loan him a small tent once. [Smile]

You can contact Jeff via email at oldelangsigns@msn.com or write him at

A Magazine About Letterheads
PO Box 404
Sewickley, PA
15143-0404

But why wait? Jeff invites you all to pickup the phone and call him personally if you have any questions, ideas or just can't wait to get this magazine delivered to your door. His number is 412-766-0255. Do it now!

Oh yeah. I don't see Jeff posting here as much as he used to. We miss him. [Smile]
