The Connecticut Historical Societys travelling collection of (very) antique signs opens on Saturday November 8 at the Abby Aldrich Folk Art Center in Williamsburg, Va. It runs until August 1, 2004. These are the signs pictured in the book Lions & Eagles & Bears. (Avail. from AMAL) Any sign person in or visiting the area, that wants to see work from the 1700's will probably enjoy the show. I know I will. Seeya! -------------------- WR Pickett Richmond, Va.

I'd love to see that show but can't make the trip. Could you find out if there's any chance it might be posted online at some point? -------------------- Greg McRoberts MacSign Dayton, Ohio
