It's been four weeks at the mall already. Time flies when you are having fun! The job is coming together nicely, and our bosses are happy. I'm delighted with the work we've accomplished thus far.
The crew is doing fabulous, but like me starting to really hanker for home once more.
I know its getting close when my favorite TV channel is the weather channel each evening, watching the long range forecasts.
I may just make two trips home... one to bring the trailer and heavy tools home if we get a stretch of good weather in a week or so, and then another trip at the end with just the pickup....
Then again that would make the job last 3-4 days longer so I may just stay on until the bitter end and hope for the best weather wise...
Three weeks and counting!

I can't even imagine being away from home for three weeks! The Nanaimo weekend was a WOW for me LOL!
I give enormous credit to those that work away from home.
Has Janis been able to come and visit you? That is a VERY long stretch! Hang in there Dan, it's nearly done and you'll be home in time to put up the christmas tree in the shop!
Good news! It's been cold but dry and windy, so I'm nearly certain your lawn will require a nice long mow upon your return. Ahhhh, the ride of a Deere.

That's a really long time, Dan. sounds like an exciting place, but, all that stimulation can be a bit tiring I bet, especially when you can't make pit stops at home to say the least. The 80 ft. high stuff is really wild. How do you do it and keep your head on straight??? what challenges! Well, at least you have heat and a good view!
