Don't know about the rest of you folks but seems like everytime it gets really busy it doesn't last long. We might have one or two good months then we might have one or two slow months. I'm thankful that we are diverse enough to take up the slack when things get slow in one area. We currently are in printing, signs and distribute specialty items like T-shirts and any thing else that takes a little ink. This past month we, for some reason, got into the travel industry. A friend of ours got us into the business. A wise old business person I know once told me to "Utilize Every Available Resource" I've tried to do that. Seems like the travel business might out do all the others. First of it was cheap to get into. 399. + 69.99 per mo. then it gave all kind of travel benefits like free airline tickets, a cruise and all kind of other discounts. The cool thing about this one is that its a technology based business. I get direct commissions from anyone that books travel using the free software that I give away . Seemed like a no brainer to me. Not much overhead, give away the product and take commissions when its used. I'm hoping this one will fill in the gaps when others get slow. My daughter just sent her application to the University of Georgia so I can't afford any more slow months. We thought about hiring a few more sales people but in this industry, (graphics), a sociologist could write a volumns on why customers all wait until the last minute to need something and they all seem to do it at the same time.
Anyway just venting a bit. Its Sunday, we're busy , and I'm at work.
Ya'll have a great day.
