I want to thank all the people who participated in the recent "On the Streets of Letterville" panel swap.
We had 40 panels submitted by participants who signed up originally. This left 16 panels unfinished, 5 people dropped out really early, 3 dropped out just before the deadline, and 1 because I don't think the person truly understood the "rules" and got confused.
I applaud the efforts of the people who signed up and fulfilled their obligations by completing their panels in a due and timely manner.
I do have some people that have not received their panels yet so I implore the procrastinators to send out the panels to their recipients. NOW.
When it came time to send out the recipients, I went down the list and teamed up the people who got their proof in the order they came in, except for two instances.
One was a participant asked that they not receive a risque panel and the other was the two people that came up on the list really don't get along too well.
I waited until all the other panels were in before I actually send out a notice to my swapping partner. I thought that it would cool to swap with the person who got your panel. It also made it easier for me to send out the 40 emails in a timely fashion.
This has been a very rewarding experience and it was fun interacting with you all. I am happy that I did it but I am equally happy that it is completed.
A real big thank you to Barb and Steve Shortreed for helping out and lending their assistance when it was needed. The slide show was awesome and it is truly appreciated. Good friends helping out made it all that much sweeter! Thanks!
A special thank you for my wife, Dana, who put up with all the nuisiances and goings on with my co-ordinating the swap. Thanks for letting me vent when I needed to. Thanks for putting up with all the assorted BS that is associated with a project like this. I love you so much. Thank you!
Kissy, take it away! The fun is about to start for you, girl!
